Rock chip trays featuring 10 compartments from tough clear, UV-stabilised plastic. Each cell measures 25 x 50 x 30 mm in size. Therefore allowing you to place 33cm3 worth of drill cuttings. The trays have the ability to snap and lock together on the side to create longer trays, such as 20 or 30 compartments. The plastic can be written on with markers pens and the lids feature three locks to prevent spilling or cross-contamination of samples. Ideal for mineral exploration use during the core drilling phase of a project.

Rock chip trays featuring 10 compartments of robust partially transparent plastic. These trays are suitable for mineral exploration projects, particularly during the drilling phase. At times, at depths of 0 to 25 meters, sites may use rotating air jet drilling. A method often in use when drilling into soft rock results in rock chips being extracted. Therefore, exploration geologists will often use rock chip trays to store samples for analysis and later reference.

Each rock chip tray measures 250 x 50 x 30 mm in size and comprises 10 cells, (compartments), each measuring 25 x 50 x 30 mm in size. Therefore allowing you to place 33cm3 worth of drill cuttings in each cell. These are completely segmented, with segments also present on the inside of the lid further preventing cross-contamination between the cells. The lids further snap closed to prevent accidental opening during transport or carrying.

An additional feature of these trays is their ability to snap and lock together by their short edge. Thus allowing you to produce a 20-compartment or even 30-compartment rock chip tray length.

Production of these trays uses robust yet slightly flexible plastic, as it can often be better than hard plastic. Which is often brittle and breaks easily if dropped or knocked on site. Overall it is a UV-stabilised, clear, durable plastic making it ideal for site use, and maintaining your drilling assets for critical reference later.
