A tungsten carbide pocket scriber allowing geologists in the field, on site or in the lab to determine the hardness properties of geological material such as minerals or crystals by performing a scratch test in order to determine the sample being analysed. This is done according to the Moh’s scall of hardness. This scriber has a hardness of 8.5 to 9, features knurling on the body and a pocket clip.
