Thanks to their core, they can even mark on rock and stone surfaces. Providing it is flat enough. In particular, they are suitable to write on notes or points of interest on core samples. Additionally, engineers can also write on cut slabs of stone or cubes of rock for geotechnical engineering tests.
Staedtler Lumocolor Chinagraph Pencils offer a premium, much higher quality of chinagraph pencil, manufactured in Germany by the renowned brand. Using sustainable sources of wood in their production, they are tough for site and lab use and can be sharpened using regular pencil sharpeners.
Available in six optional colours, suitable depending on your requirement. For example, the paler colours stand out better against dark rocks or backgrounds – and vice versa.
